ABOUT US
The first and most important fact about us is that we are a family and not an agency, this gives us the chance to give you more attention from your first email until we bring you back to the airport.
We are all Hungarians from Budapest who have been always living here so we know the city very well and have presented our lovely country to many-many visitors in the past decade.
Let me introduce myself: my name is Marton. I was still a high school student when I first had the idea to host travellers during the summer (2001) to make a bit of pocket money. The idea worked out very well and since then we have been hosting the "World" in Budapest.
Later as the business grew, I needed some help so my family started to help me out. Without my Mother (Susie) we wouldn't be where we are today. In the past few years my sister (Nora) and brother (Peter) also helped a lot.
We all love our city and know it very well. This way we can use this knowledge to give advise and practical tips to our Guests. As I am a keen traveller myself I know from experience what people exactly need when they are on the road so I tried to make this website as helpful as I could. Every time I meet new people I’m more than happy to share my best knowledge of my hometown with them.
So first of all Budapesting is a business, but it's also a great way of helping people explore our city and to make them feel at home from the first moment they put their feet into Budapest until they wave goodbye. We continuously help our Guests get the best out of their stay and they can count on us during every second of their visit.
We enjoy hosting our Guests while this gives us the opportunity to meet so many great people from all over. If we're lucky enough we get to know them a bit more and share opinions with eachother is always something interesting. This has
opened up many new possibilities for us, while whenever we do travelling ourselves, there’s always a friend to meet somewhere in the world...
We constantly do our best to keep up our with our concept which is shown by the positive feedback we receive and the growing number of our regular and returning Guests we feel and know that we are on the right path.
